The position of Area Sales Manager is offered by ROVEMA Polska, a subsidiary of ROVEMA Group – a world-leading manufacturer of packaging machines and complete packaging lines for the food and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries.
The person appointed to this role will be responsible for developing sales within the Polish market – both by actively acquiring new customers and strengthening relationships with the existing client network. The role involves building long-term business relationships, close cooperation with the engineering and technical support departments at the company’s headquarters, and full responsibility for achieving sales targets within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively acquire new customers and develop sales within the Polish market.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with the existing customer base.
- Work closely with the engineering and project departments at the headquarters to develop comprehensive technical and commercial offers.
- Prepare sales offers based on detailed customer needs analysis and reference list preparation.
- Negotiate commercial terms and oversee contract execution.
- Regularly report sales activities using the CRM system.
- Conduct frequent business trips within the sales region (Poland) to meet clients, hold presentations, and attend trade fairs.
- Monitor market trends, identify new sales opportunities, and respond to market changes.
Requirements
- University degree – preferably in a technical or business-related field.
- Experience in sales of industrial machinery or technical solutions will be a strong asset.
- Very good command of English; knowledge of German will be considered an advantage.
- High level of personal culture and ability to work effectively in an international environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel frequently on business.
- Openness to change and development in a dynamic business environment.
